Backup Resources Locally

Hi all,

Every time i format my iphone, i force to download the sources which i purchased already from the Mantis web site, Is it not possible to backup my purchased sources on my computer, so that i need not download the huge data every time.
One more thing , even i tried to download the sources from my iphone, Many times its disconnected from the server and i have to start the download from the beginning, its irritating and a waste of money and time, Why don't you provide resume download facility.

I've been trying to send Customer service the following email but keep getting not delivery. Here's the message; I had Mantis my iPad but it was stolen. I now have a new iPad and have reinstalled Mantis on it. But because the Mantis app is open on the stolen iPad my new iPad will not open the Mantis app. I know your usage rules do not allow more than one iPad to operate the Mantis app at a time, but in this case what can be done so I can open the Mantis app on my new iPad?

Can someone help me with this problem or help me find a way contact Mantis?

De-registering Device

I had to factory reset my Galaxy s5 and now Mantis tells me I have registered max number of devices. Where and how can I de-register one of my devices? Cant find it on the web site of in the app.

Restore Backup to new device (iPhone to iPad)

I've backed up all my notes and bookmarks to the Mantis server but I can't seem to restore them to my iPad. Is there a way to do this? I'm running 4.7.1 on the iPhone and 4.8.0 on the iPad. When I tried a local server method, I could connect to the iPhone and download the notes only but I could not connect to the iPad using the same method. Also, it doesn't appear that I can access the bookmarks this way either. Please help.

iPhone 3GS
iPad 16GB WiFi
MacBook Pro 17 in 2.8 Ghz (5,2)

Hey there!

I just bought an ipad, needless to say that Mantis Bible Study was one of the dealmakers- just awesome to be able to use the big screen and read relaxed in the word of God!

But now I am beginning to miss my extensive collection of bookmarks I created on my iPhone over the years... is there any way to sync them to the iPad? I registered my account and all my purchased bibles / commentaries are flawlessly synced, but I am neither able to register my iPad (if the bibles sync, that makes sense) nor to sync the bookmarks notes-

Could someone please suggest a possibility to sync across iDevices... if possible ;-)

I just upgraded my iPhone 5S to and iPhone 6. I am going through the Reading Plan 3. I am a behind, and am only up to July 15. Is there any way to tell Mantis that I have read RP3 through July 15 so that the program will open to that date as my last day read? In other words, I would like to set July 15 as the last read day so Mantis would open up July 16 as the last date unread. I can go through each day and check that I have read each file, but that takes a looooong time.

Is it possible to add my own Bible Reading Plan. At the moment I'll probably use the 1 year Bible, but I would love the option to input my own (then i can use my own variation on the BCP liturgy).

Combining notes and bookmarks in a folder

I briefly looked at and tested the notes editor thinking that perhaps it would provide the means to combine bookmarks and notes in a folder. I couldn't find a way to do that. Does anyone know if this is possible. I would like to be able to open a topic-based folder, e.g. Election and see all of my bookmarks and notes on election without remembering which scripture contains a note on the subject. Thanks for any info you can provide. John

Are iPad backups and iPhone backups stored separately?

I backup Mantis on my iPhone so the info is not lost. If I backup my iPad (which does not have the same bookmarks) to the Mantis server, will the iPhone backup be corrupted (bookmarks lost)?

Not an issue, just a question seeking information.

I recently upgraded from an (iPod Touch which i've had for the last 2-3 years) to the new iPhone 4S. When I logged into Mantis via the app on my iPhone4S it treated it like a new device/account. . . I tried to restore all backups/notes/etc but there was nothing to restore.

I have a LOT of info stored in my iPod Touch still (most importantly highlights), how do I get all of that onto my iPhone?

In your video you show more data on the screen than my device has. You are using KJVS, I have NASS and have much less screen information. I also have NIV, NKJV, NLT, WEB, CUVS, CUVT, DRB, VMV, KJVR, KJV,KJVA, SRV, WBS, HEB, ITAL, KOR, VIET, ACCB, DARB, MAC, JCAC, MHC, MHCC, NIVSB, RSBN, PNT, MCGE, TSK, EBD, FBD, HBN, SCRF, TNTT, WFIB, ETC and more. It looks like you are showing Greek and Hebrew and pronunciation, more than what I show. What am I still missing?

Highlighting text

I am using the NIV Study Bible. I can't highlight anything more than one word. When I try to highlight a sentence or paragraph, the text just scrolls. What am I doing wrong?
