| 3.0.1 Update - Monday, November 17, 2008Last night we identified a bug in the new bookmark system that causes trouble for certain commentaries. The problem has been fixed and uploaded to Apple as version 3.0.1. As a result, 3.0.0 will never see the light of day, but instead, when Apple has a chance to review the new version, it will be released as 3.0.1.

| Mantis Bible Study 3.0.0 sent to App Store - Saturday, November 15, 2008We're done! 3.0.0 was uploaded to the Apple App Store today. If they bless it, you should see it in about 5 to 7 days. This new version is ground-breaking in a few places, and we're very excited about it. Here's just a tiny peek at what's coming in version 3:

| New version nears completion - Tuesday, November 11, 2008We've been quiet for a while, making a lot of progress on a fairly large upgrade. This upgrade will have all of the most-requested features, and should take Bible Study on the iPhone to a whole new level.
And now for the burning question: when will it be done? That, I can't answer. Testing is going well, but there's plenty more to be done. If all goes well, we'll release to Apple within a few days, and you'll see it in a little over a week. If not, well, it'll take a bit longer.
A wise man I once worked for equated software development releases with the birth of a new baby. You know it's coming, but you can never tell exactly when. There's a lot of truth to that. |
